  • VISTA NALU is a boutique hideaway above the surf in Santa Teresa, Costa Rica. Our individually designed stays combine ocean views, privacy, tropical surroundings and intentional design — created for guests who value calm, comfort and a close connection to nature.

  • Villa Nalu is a spacious two-bedroom villa with a private pool, ideal for couples, families or friends travelling together.

    Casa Cueva is a two-bedroom residence with a private plunge pool and generous indoor and outdoor living areas.

    Casa Surya is a spacious ocean-view studio with a private terrace and dedicated workspace, designed for one or two guests.

    Casa Selva is an intimate ocean-view studio with a private terrace and plunge pool. It does not have a dedicated workspace and is best suited to guests prioritising privacy, nature and relaxation.

  • Villa Nalu is a spacious two-bedroom villa with a private pool, ideal for couples, families or friends travelling together.

    Casa Cueva is a two-bedroom residence with a private plunge pool and generous indoor and outdoor living areas.

    Casa Surya is a spacious ocean-view studio with a private terrace and dedicated workspace, designed for one or two guests.

    Casa Selva, joining the collection soon, is an intimate ocean-view studio with a private terrace and plunge pool. It does not have a dedicated workspace.

  • Yes. VISTA NALU offers high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi throughout the property.

    Villa Nalu, Casa Cueva and Casa Surya include a dedicated workspace, making them particularly suitable for workations and longer stays. Casa Selva has Wi-Fi but does not have a dedicated desk.

    As in any tropical destination, brief interruptions to internet or electricity may occasionally occur.

  • Children are welcome, and families are particularly comfortable in Villa Nalu and Casa Cueva, which both have two bedrooms. A baby bath is available on request.

    Please note that the property includes stairs, elevated areas and private pools. Children must therefore be supervised at all times.

    Pets may be accepted with prior approval. Please contact us before booking and share the size and number of pets travelling with you. Additional conditions or cleaning charges may apply.

Booking & Guest Support

  • Select your preferred stay and follow the current availability or booking link on our website. You can also contact us directly with your preferred dates, number of guests and chosen accommodation.

    Before confirming a direct booking, we will provide the total price and the applicable payment and cancellation conditions.

  • Yes. For standard stays, daily light housekeeping is included, with towels and bed linen changed every three days.

    For stays longer than two weeks, the housekeeping schedule and linen changes are adjusted to the length of stay and agreed in advance. Additional cleaning can be arranged upon request.

  • Yes. We are happy to assist with planning and coordinating selected services through trusted local partners, including airport transfers, surf lessons, yoga, massages, tours and other experiences around Santa Teresa.

    We can also share personal recommendations for restaurants, beaches, wellness, activities and local favourites. All external services are subject to availability and are charged separately.

Arrival & Santa Teresa

  • Most international guests arrive through San José International Airport or Liberia International Airport.

    From San José, one of the quickest options is a domestic flight to Cóbano, the nearest regional airport to Santa Teresa. SANSA currently offers daily flights between San José and Cóbano, with the number of connections varying by season.

    From Cóbano, VISTA NALU is approximately 20–25 minutes away by car. Alternatively, guests can travel to Santa Teresa by private or shared shuttle or rental car. We are happy to assist with coordinating your onward transfer.

  • A 4x4 vehicle is recommended, particularly during the green season. The final road leading to VISTA NALU is short but steep.

    Private on-site parking is available for guests. ATVs and scooters are also commonly used around Santa Teresa, although guests should choose a vehicle that suits their experience and the current road conditions.

  • Yes. VISTA NALU has a secured main entrance, and each stay has its own private access.

    Detailed directions and access information are shared only with confirmed guests shortly before arrival.

  • Santa Teresa is a year-round destination.

    The drier months, generally from December to April, bring sunnier weather and are the most popular travel period. The green season, generally from May to November, offers lush landscapes, fewer visitors and tropical showers.

    Surfing is possible throughout the year, although conditions vary depending on the season and experience level.

  • VISTA NALU is currently welcoming its first guests during a limited soft-opening period.

    On selected dates, minor daytime activity or final finishing work may still take place. Any relevant activity will be communicated honestly before a booking is confirmed, and soft-opening rates reflect this temporary phase.
